On January 11 2020, 15 countries took part in the Annual General Meeting, 38 representatives present in Darmstadt, Germany.
Following countries were represented:
Austria, Belgium, China, China Hongkong, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Russia, San Marino, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland.

Highlights of the meeting:

  • Protest update:
    During the JWM a protest was filed against an Italian pilot. An artbitration tribunal handled the protest. In the end the pilot withdrew from competition, the tribunal did find unacceptable alterrations in the documentation. This would result in disqualification, but the contestant withdrew from the competition.
    As this was the second time this happened, a proposal was presented to ban de pilot for life. After an indepth debate, and also hearing from the pilot, it was voted by majority to issue a lifetime ban.

  • Chairman report
    Reto gave a brief overview of the JWM, and remebered the creed "for jet modeller, by jet modellers"
    Due to a change in board during the China AGM, Reto thanked Sandro Rosina for his work in the IJMC board, and the hope he will be part of the IJMC family.
  • CD China report
    Ben presented an overview of the event in china, also adrressing some of the issues, like the radio disturbances.
    Afterwards some debate ensued about the forms and the ranking of the team trophy. Also some debate about what to do when radio disturbances.
  • New Country rep applications.

  • JWM 2021 update
    Peter Cmyral presented an update about the 2021 JWM in August 2021 in Austria.
  • JWM 2023 proposal
    Ales Marhoun of Czech Republic presented a proposal for Czech Republic to host the 2023 JWM
  • Lunch was offered by DMFV by DMFV rep Fred Blum
  • IJFM rule change proposals
  • 41 proposals had to be voted on for the Rules and Guidelines. Several proposals did not require vote, as they are clarifications to excisting rules.
    The most important ones:
    - 13.5KG class will become 15KG class
    - A judge will be added to relief chief judge to be able to focus on chief judge tasks
    - Different meaneuvres in minimal 2 flight rounds, instead of minimal 6 optional meanuevres minimal 12 optional maneuvres
