On January 07 2017, 15 countries took part in the Annual General Meeting, 32 people present in Muhltal, Germany.
Highlights of the meeting:

• New country reps:
  
  Andy Andrews - USA
  Dan Bott - USA
  Zhao Shuanghong (Ammy Zhao) - China
  Robert Fabianski - Poland
• Changes proposed in the constitution have been adopted, the new documentation can be found in the documentation section soon.
• Presentation of the new IJMC medals and new trophy for best modern jet. The trophy is sponsored by Aviator Watches.
• Rule changes for IJFC have been approved by the meeting.
  - No more pyrotechnics (firework)
  - Single transmitter per plane, no additional radio's for additional effects.
• Finland JWM2017 organizing team gave an update on the organisation. Bulletin 2 is expected mid Januari.
  Durin pre-registration around 50-60 pilots have registered. The organizers are still working with freight companies, due to stricter regulation around Li-Po's.
  Registration ends april 30, late entries pay an additional 50 euro.
• Presentation of 2019 candidate countries:
  China
  The chinese bid is supported by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics (CSAA)
  The event is to be organized at a dedicated 300x30m runway in Rongcheng, Shandong provence. The proposed period will be early October 2019.
  The organizers will try to get an; elaborate sponsoring from the Chinese authorities, to cover hotel and food, local transport for pilots, Helpers, teammanagers and IJMC officials.
  United Arab Emirates
  The event will take place in Abu Dhabi. Transport for crates will be sponsored by the authorities. Further sponsering is being discussed. Timeframe is mid October. The weather will be warm, 30-35C.
  Both coutries had representatives present to deliver a detailed presentation of their proposal. The final vote will take place at the General Meeting during the JWM2017 on August 17.
• Marc provided a report about the China Turbojet Open, a formation competition per IJMC regulations which took place in Octber 2016.
  Looking forward, the IJFC2018 is open for bids, China is interested to organize.

The next meeting, JWM General Meeting, will take place on August 17 2017 at Jämijärvi, Finland.
The next AGM is scheduled for January 13 2018 in Multhal, Germany.
